1When refunds apply
Refunds may be issued when an item is not delivered, is significantly not as described, or when a dispute resolution determines a refund is warranted. Refunds are not issued for buyer's remorse or minor discrepancies clearly disclosed in the listing.
2How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are returned to the buyer's original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment method and issuing bank, typically completing within several business days. You will receive notifications at each stage of the process.
3Partial refunds
In some cases, a partial refund may be the fairest resolution, for example when an item has a minor undisclosed defect but is otherwise as described. Partial refunds are negotiated during dispute mediation and credited to the original payment method.
414-day right of withdrawal
When you buy from a professional seller (a TRUZH Pro subscriber or business user) on TRUZH as a consumer located in the EU, Spanish consumer law (TRLGDCU) grants you a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery. You can return the item for any reason within that window and receive a full refund, without needing to prove a defect. This right does not apply to private peer-to-peer transactions between individuals; it applies only to purchases from sellers acting in a commercial or professional capacity. Professional sellers are required to surface this right on their listings and in pre-contract information.
