Receiving your item

What to do when your purchase arrives: inspection, confirmation, and feedback.

1Inspecting your delivery

When your item arrives, inspect it carefully before confirming receipt. Check that it matches the listing description, photos, and condition promised by the seller. Take photos immediately if anything is wrong: damaged packaging, missing parts, or significant discrepancies from the listing.

2Confirming receipt

Once you are satisfied with your purchase, confirm receipt through your TRUZH dashboard. This releases payment to the seller and completes the transaction. Do not confirm receipt until you have physically inspected the item and are satisfied.

3Leaving feedback

After confirming receipt, you are invited to leave feedback for the seller. Honest feedback helps other buyers make informed decisions and rewards sellers who provide excellent service. Be fair, specific, and constructive in your reviews.

4Review rules and moderation

Reviews must be factual and reflect your genuine experience with the transaction. They may not contain defamatory language, personal attacks, personal data such as phone numbers or addresses, commercial promotion, or content unrelated to the trade itself. TRUZH moderates reviews and may remove any that breach these rules. If you feel a review left about you is unfair or violates our guidelines, you can flag it from your profile for review by our Safety & Support team.
