These Terms & Conditions govern your use of TRUZH via the website and apps.

1. Introduction

Welcome to TRUZH! These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our platform (“Service”), available via website and apps. By registering or using TRUZH, you agree to comply with these Terms and all relevant regulations.

You must be 18+ with legal capacity to use our platform. Users under 18 are not permitted.

2. Definitions

  • • User: anyone using TRUZH (buyer/seller)
  • • Seller: user listing items
  • • Buyer: user purchasing items
  • • Community listing: visible only to verified colleagues/institution
  • • Public listing: visible to all registered users
  • • P2B Regulation: EU Regulation 2019/1150 on platform-to-business transparency
  • • DAC7: EU reporting rules for certain high-volume sellers

3. Platform Use

  • • You own or are authorized to sell listed items.
  • • Listings must include accurate information and media.
  • • You must maintain secure login credentials and are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Verification & Identity

Users must sign up with an institutional or company email to enable community listings and support trust.

We may require additional verification (including ID checks) where legally required or to prevent fraud.

5. Transactions & Payments

  • • Methods: cash in person or online payments via an integrated provider.
  • • Buyers and sellers agree on price and method.
  • • Buyers should report issues within 48 hours of meeting/receipt. We may offer mediation or support.

6. Prohibitions & Content Rules

  • • No illegal items, weapons, counterfeit goods, adult content, digital-only goods, or prohibited materials.
  • • No hate speech, spam, fraud, or misleading behavior.
  • • Listings must describe physical goods accurately.

7. Termination & Suspension

TRUZH may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

Sellers exceeding certain thresholds (e.g., more than 30 transactions or €2,000 annual sales) may be subject to DAC7 reporting and additional checks.

8. Liability & Disputes

  • • TRUZH is an intermediary platform and is not the buyer or seller of listed items.
  • • We do not guarantee item quality, authenticity, or condition.
  • • Disputes should be resolved between users; TRUZH may help mediate where possible.

Disputes fall under the courts of Valencia, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.

9. Business Users (P2B)

If you sell as a business (company, freelancer), EU P2B rules may apply. Where required, we provide transparent ranking information, complaint handling, and clear contract terms.

10. Pricing & Fees

TRUZH’s service is free initially. Any future fees (e.g., buyer protection) will be transparent and displayed upfront before you finalize a transaction.

11. Privacy & Data (GDPR)

Your data is processed per our Privacy Policy. You have rights to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing in accordance with GDPR.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll notify users of material changes. Continued use means acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

Spanish law applies. Disputes fall under Valencia courts unless mandatory rules allow consumers to choose a different forum.
